Reprint of the work first published in Florence between 1855 and 1864 under the supervision of the famous heraldist and genealogist Luigi Passerini Orsini de' Rilli (1816-1877): it deals with as many as 177 among the most important families of Tuscany, still flourishing as well as died out, with colour illustrations of the coats of arms.
