The Piedmontese historian Luigi Cibrario published a monumental Descrizione storica degli Ordini Cavallereschi, dedicating as much as two hundreds pages to the fascinating and misterious history of the Knights Templar, not without providing us with transcriptions from old documents: they are duly reproduced in this reprint, which casts some light on this mistified topic.
