Reprint of the work published in 1928 by Giovanni Dolcetti, a scholar of Venetian heraldry and genealogy, which thought of retracing the origins of the Mussolini of Bologna - and thus also of the family of the Duce - to an old patrician family of Venice of the same name, really flourished on the Grand Canal between the XIII and the XVI centuries and elevated to the dignity of palatine counts by the emperor Sigismund in 1434.
