Transcription of an heraldic-genealogical manuscript once belonging to the Arnaldis of Vicenza, who were made patricians of Venice thanks to a large donation to the Republic: it was complied in 1704 and updated till 1722, and deals with the 230 patrician families still existing in those days, not without mentioning curious information and rumors about the circumstances of their ammission to the patriciate. In the appendix, a late Nineteenth-Century armorial reproduces in full colour as many as 792 coats of arms of patrician families of Venice, still flourishing or yet extinguished.
